Sanding and Sealing this hardwood floor in Wilmslow, the floor was many years old and we had to take extreme care on re-sanding because it was very thin. After sanding to a fine finish we applied a coat of Shellac barrier seal to stop any previously used wax from seeping back through then applied a further 3 coats of heavy duty Satin flooring seal and the customer was delighted at the transformation. Customer requested sanding and sealing of existing parquet flooring in Sale to its natural state. The floor had been previously badly sanded and stained in a mahogany finish.   We began by rough sanding the floor with a 36 grit paper and then proceeded to sand using 50 grit, 80 grit, 120 grit and then 150 grit to achieve a super smooth finish.   We then applied 3 coats of heavy duty flooring lacquer in the customer choice of satin finish.
